When was the original Superman made?
Created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, Superman first appeared in Action Comics #1 in June 1938. A mere three years later, Superman made his first onscreen appearance in the Fleischer Studios’ animated short film, Superman (aka “The Mad Scientist”).

What made Superman evil?
